About RouteWare

RouteWare is an Embarcadero Technology Partner
RouteWare has existed as a consultancy company since 1992 and has experience with many different
solutions for the Windows platform. Since 1998 RouteWare has specialized in algorithms and tools
for shortest path and related problems.

Our products are continuously extended with new functionality, existing algorithms are improved,
and we do our best to make sure the products are independent and can be used with your favourite
GIS tool and platform.

Several of the products have been developed in collaboration with our partners.

Uffe Kousgaard

RouteWare is owned by Uffe Kousgaard, who is developer, webmaster, etc. I have a long experience in
computing, dating back to 1982 on the legendary ZX-81, but have been using PCs since 1985.

I graduated from the Technical University of Denmark in 1994 as M.Sc. specializing in traffic planning,
operations research, programming & statistics. From 1994-1999 I worked at COWI as a traffic planner
(doing traffic modelling). From 1999-2004 I worked part-time at NERI, where I did traffic research and
took part in the administration Of an Oracle Spatial & ArcGIS installation. Many of the algorithms in RW Net
have been used in my own research work with road traffic assignment and other analyses.

I have worked full time with RouteWare since 2004.

Maxim Volkov

My first programming experience occurred in 1989 with ZX-Spectrum computer. In 1993 I switched to IBM PC.
Those days I was programming in Assembler and C.

From 1996 to 2003 I studied at the Obninsk State Technical University of Nuclear Power Engineering in Russia.
During the next 3 years I worked on my Ph.D. thesis that was entirely based on the software I wrote.
At the same time I started to participate in commercial software development. Since that time I have worked
on a number of projects both full-time and part-time. I have gained experience in developing desktop, database,
mobile and web applications using a number of different programming languages.

In 2007 I joined RouteWare.

Keith Giddings

I started programming in the late 1970's in basic on a Z80 based laboratory computer in the lab where I was working.
Finding basic too slow I implemented forth and enjoyed it so much that I moved (via a Dragon 32!) into a programming career.

Since then I have over the past 30 years learnt many different programming languages but my favourite is still Delphi.
My role over the years has mainly been in the design and development of component based applications with heavy
use of COM and COM+ throughout. I have worked in a variety of different technical industries including chemical,
pharmaceutical, medical and weather.

I joined RouteWare in 2010.
